Beschreibung

The Lotus Leyland Leopard JPS is a rare and unique doubledecker bus that was created by Lotus Engineering in collaboration with Leyland Motors and the John Player Special (JPS) cigarette brand. The bus was designed as a luxury tour bus for the JPS-sponsored Lotus Formula One team in the 1970s.

The Leyland Leopard JPS features a custom-built aluminum body with JPS branding and black and gold livery, which was also used on the Lotus F1 cars of the era. The interior is fully equipped with luxurious amenities, including plush seating, a bar, and a sound system.

Under the hood, the Leyland Leopard JPS is powered by a Leyland O.680 diesel engine that produces up to 150 horsepower, which is mated to a manual transmission. The suspension and brakes were also upgraded to handle the weight and performance of the bus.

The Leyland Leopard JPS is considered a rare and collectible vehicle, with only one known example in existence.
